Kia ora whānau,
Here are the memoirs our class wrote in Term 1. We hope you enjoy them.

Kia ora whānau,
Room 9 had a wonderful trip to Seeley's Gully on the morning of Friday, April 9. We had done some research in class on the gully in the days beforehand so your child should be able to add some explanation to these lovely photos.

Kia ora whānau,
We have been in the publishing stage for a lot of our work so here is some more. I will upload the remainder soon, but for now I hope you enjoy Room 9's first poetry!

Kia ora whānau,
Here is some more writing from Room 9. Do you think there is anything else I need to know about your child? Please feel free to add something in the comments.

Here are some wonderful poems written by the students of Room 9. This is just a taster as there are more anthologies to come. We hope you enjoy reading them as much as we enjoyed writing them. I wonder if parents recognise their children's personalities in them? Please let us know in the comments.
Kia ora whānau,
Room 9 has started a fantastic Pūtaiao (science) inquiry on temperatures around the school. The class has different hunches about where the highest temperatures in the school will be. Each day at 12PM a team of our curious scientists will be visiting these spots to gather data. They will also look at the weather each day to interpret this data to confirm these hunches.
Here are three Room 9 tamariki with thermometers in hand!
